Basilica of Our Lady of Šiluva

1608. Europe’s first widely received Marian apparition of the modern era: a lady holding the Child, weeping, on a rock, in a land where Calvinists had taken the church. The buried Catholic articles were found. Lithuania still comes. You go because a small nation kept the faith, and she met them in a field.
